Canon FD Cine-Mod rehousing Lenses kit brief:
Optical part: each lens glass is new and clean, no mold, no fog. No visible scratches. The glass has been cleaned, but the mirror barrel is not sealed, nor is it a vacuum environment, there will still be dust, and the default is slightly gray.
Mechanical modification part:
1) The front port is unified with an outer diameter of 80mm and an inner diameter of 77mm. The front port and the front cover of the lens are all made of metal aluminum.
2) M0.8 focusing gear. Metal aluminum material, non-rubber, non-3D printing. Suitable for manual and electric wireless follow focus. The installation method is designed reasonably and will not loosen.
3) Promise aperture + aperture adjustment gear. Metal aluminum.
If the original rear port of the FD lens is removed, the aperture will be invalid, and the linkage aperture needs to be redesigned.
The infinite aperture can not be realized by removing the limit steel ball. If the steel ball is removed, the aperture ring is loose and cannot be used.
The existing modification is an integrated design, and the infinite aperture feels silky and not loose.
4) EF rear port + extinction cone.
The EF rear port is custom-machined stainless steel rear port for the original data, not a cheap adapter ring. It fits tightly with the camera mount and does not loosen. During video shooting, if the mount is loose, the focus screen will shake, which is basically a waste lens.
